[MC-154701] Item will not stay in air after you relog

Drop an item and quit while It's in air,relog and item is now in the surface.

I cannot reproduce in 20w51a. I've attached a video

to demonstrate this. It may be a bit difficult to catch, but notice how after I rejoin the world, the item is still above the ground for a moment. This is where it was when I left the world.

Does this happen to still be an issue for you?
