Game Crashes when Shift + Command + Delete 18 characters at once on Anvil

How to reproduce

1. Launch Minecraft 1.14.3

2. Launch any world from any gamemode

3. Place an item on an anvil, rename it with any 18 character string

4. attempt to delete all text with shift + command + delete
   → ❌ game crashes, displaying "saving world"
