Bees do not follow players holding tall flowers

The bug

Bees follow players holding flowers. That does not happen for tall flowers, such as sunflowers and rose bushes.

You can breed bees with tall flowers, however.

To reproduce

1. Summon a few bees

2. Hold a poppy
   → ✔ The bees follow you

3. Hold a rose bush
   → ❌ The bees no longer follow you
