Now and then I open Minecraft and I click and nothing happens I double click and then it responds. I know that it is not my computer or my mouse. I go into Minecraft and I play a world and I have to double click to place a block, but when I do that the game puts the block down and then destroys it as soon as I place it. This has been happening even since 1.13.

What operating system do you use? What mouse do you use? Does this affect other games or applications as well? Did older versions of the game have this issue as well?
There is not a problem with my mouse or computer, because it doesn't happen every time I open Minecraft.
Also I have tried all of my mice but they all do it. It happens on my Mac and PC. It has been like this ever since 1.13.

We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.
Please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report ([minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt|http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/guides/finding-minecraft-data-folder]) here.
Once attached, the report will be reopened automatically.

Hello, I am still experiencing this problem as of 1.16 and the latest snapshots (21w07a). I sometimes have to double click to even join a world or server, from the play screen. I am on macOS Big Sur, but it has always been frustrating to happen with older macOS version. I saw that this was resolved and that they had not attached a crash report, so here I have attached mine for when this bug happened. (unfortunately I was running fabric, however I will try to get one from running vanilla, hopefully you can scrap something from this)
