Trees don't generate appropriate to the biome

growing an oak tree in a swamp biome doesn't generate a swamp tree and growing

a birch tree in a birch forest biome doesn't result in large birch trees at all. This made

my little sister very sad.

this is also very confusing for newer players

wtf, why Mojang, that is clearly a bug trees not growing from saplings the way they spawn. really!?

@Jordan, yes, I completely agree. Ilmango didn't suggest something, he very clearly stated a bug...

I don't get, how this gets taged as invalid.

I can confirm, this bug seems to affect all versions of minecraft.

This doesn't make any sense, when I bonemeal grass it generates different results depending on biome and location, it's the same item, used on the same block. Why should it be different with trees. Clearly double standards at play.
