Please reopen and revert this behavior to the old function. Currently this will make 2x2 tree farms slightly more painful to create, but no more difficult to design.
I can confirm, this bug seems to affect all versions of minecraft.
Blaze bullets too! Same bug same fire without need!
Hostile mobs naturally spawning in Mushroom Biomes! This is absolutely heretical!!!
This issue is extremely important for redstone around mob farms as well as other small things in the game. How can such a thing change between versions?
Eta's theory confirmed by one more tester!
Error is present at all sub chunk borders.
Can also reproduce the effect. I normally run the game with minimal dedicated ram, however it doesn't crash the launcher at 100% rate. One thing I've noted when it crashes, there seems to be quite the excessive spike in ram usage for a brief moment. However im not a coder so I wouldnt know where to begin looking. Perhaps this is somehow linked to the large ram usage when launching several instances of minecraft in parallel to each other then quitting out of all but one of the loaded worlds. I say this because to do such a feat, you normally end up loading the launcher several times, perhaps by accident even.
*Edit: I run windows 7 pro
So this isnt present in 1.12.1?
So strange, its not like a dog is a cactus.
My precious little companion is gone forever. I didn't realize that mining out the obsidian platform for its blocks would let poor little Laika get sucked into the cold and unforgiving void. I pray he finds a warm place to curl up.
agreed on that bug ray showed, crafting bone blocks is still a pain
in my personal opinion, items with 3 tiers, like bones, gold, and iron, should always auto select their highest value item when putting it through an auto craft function, priority to the expensive blocks being created
(increase priority of bone landing in crafting grid)
eg, if i click to craft gold bars and have both nuggets and blocks in my inv, nuggets should always be selected first
that way value is easier to accumulate
Language is one of the main areas where confusion can be generated the fastest. Please don't refer to block dropping from sticky pistons as a bug in the slightest if its staying in the game. When you call the same phenomenon a bug and a feature in the same sentence, it will confuse hundreds and likely lead to a similar level of outcry as if you had said that you consider the ability of a partial block to hold back water as being both a bug and an unintended feature, especially when it looks like you went through so much effort in the combat update to make water work more like you seemed to have wanted.
Alternate method of testing the effect.
Place dropper facing into cobweb and fire an item into it.
A water stream under will make the effect more dramatic.
