For testing i hide two furnace and two chest under an slime block and i see
through the slime block the furnace but not the chest ,i just see the dirt .

It looks like this only happens when you are looking at an entity's shadow (like the shadow of the player in your screenshots).
Does MC-162338 describe your issue?
