Exiting Boats - getting stuck, vibrating, and eventually exiting the boat. The boat disappears

Recently when exiting a boat that I have rowed to shore, I get stuck.  I start vibrating like a block moving through another block.  I may be able to jump after left-shift and sometimes this helps to exit. I hear plopping sound when exiting and the boat disappears.

I have traveled back to the place where the boat was lost and it is on the shore where it would have been when I exit.

Puzzling and requires making another boat to use to leave the shore.

Any thoughts?
