Mobs are not dropping XP upon death.

Do you use any data packs? Are you on a server?

I'm having the same issue no packs or servers, bedrock on the abandoned village seed. I made an xp farm and it worked for a while, then it stopped giving xp. then I noticed that no mobs anywhere were dropping xp orbs, but mining still does. I tried starting a new seed and everything seems to be working, but I have been playing that seed for a long time so I thought I check it out to see if anyone else had the same problem.

Is this still an issue in Minecraft 1.16.3 or later?
