Iron horse armor uses an incorrect texture in the programmer art resource pack

The bug

The iron horse armor texture seems to be different or not rendered correctly when the programmer art resource pack is used. It seems like the shoulderplate is no longer transparent and darker in 1.14.4.

Here is a comparison between the texture in 1.13.2 and the (differing) texture in 1.14.4:

The programmer art iron horse armor texture is identical to the one used in 1.13.2.

Uh, from what I can see, Iron Horse Armor was updated to fit the new Horse Model in 1.13 Snapshot 18w03a, however, it was updated again, or, at least, it was supposed to have been, in 1.13 Snapshot 18w22a, and then again in 1.13 Pre-Release 2, however, the Iron Horse Armor I'm seeing for the Programmer Art Texture Pack seems to be the one from 18w03a, not 1.13.2.  Of which, there seems to be no logged changed for Iron Horse Armor in Release 1.13.2, and the last change was for 1.13 Pre-Release 2, which looks overall similar to the Iron Horse Armor in 1.14, but was in fact released for 1.13 Pre-Release 2, which, according to the wiki, was to fix an issue with the transparent pixels on 1.13 Snapshot 18w22a's Iron Horse Armor, which was bugged as a result of said transparent pixels.  As far as I can tell, the Head Texture of the Iron Horse Armor is the same as the 1.13 Snapshot 18w03a version, whereas the body, actually, the whole Iron Horse Armor seems to be the version used in 1.13 Snapshot 18w03a, not 1.13.2, which would've used the 1.13 Pre-Release 2 version, as far as I can tell.  So, uh, not sure why this isn't being taken seriously, it's clearly the wrong texture, use from 1.13 Snapshot 18w03a up until 1.13 Snapshot 18w22a, which was used until 1.13 Pre-Release 2, no such change appears to have been made to revert the texture back to the 1.13 Snapshot 18w03a version between 1.13 Pre-Release 2 and Release 1.13.2.  (or, at least, there is no evidence of it on the Wiki).  So, thus, my argument, thank you.  Rockatoa, Brickticks out!

I just checked again just to make sure, and the programmer art texture from 1.14.4 is 100% identical to the texture from 1.13.2.

Then, why is mine a 18w03a texture?  If you want, I could get some profile and font pictures to prove it.

You're probably using another resource pack that overwrites that texture.

OK, they should be there now, clearly I'm only using Default and Programmer Art Resource Packs, my dummy horse here clearly has 18w03a's Iron Horse Armor, and as you can see by the file names, there were clearly three updates to the Iron Horse Armor between 18w03a and 1.13 Pre-Release 2, all of which were before 1.13.2, which doesn't even have a entry on the Minecraft Wiki's Horse Armor Page as a version where changes were made to the Iron Horse Armor or its texture.  Here, have a cookie, maybe Minecraft will work better if you give it a cookie, I know I work better when I have cookies!

This issue is not resolved, I still have a bugged texture.  please, take me seriously, there was no texture change in 1.13.2, there was one that was supposed to fix this issue in 1.13 Pre-Release 2, however, as I have seen, the texture change, in 1.13 Pre-Release 2, was bugged, and the texture simply reverted back to 18w03a, despite the fact that you all clearly say it was.  I am not OK with your response, and can assure you that, as I have found, this issue has been present since 18w03a and has never been resolved.  What do I have to do?  Come down to your office, turn on my laptop, shove it in your face, and show you that the texture for Iron horse Armor has been bugged since 18w03a?  Because I will, I will come down there, and I will personally shove my laptop into your face, with poor Rusty on screen, clearly showing that 18wo3a texture, not the texture of 1.13 Pre-Release 2, which, to my knowledge, was supposed to have been the same as 1.13.2, and thus I will not leave until I see it fixed.  I repeat, I am not using any texture pack other than the Default and Programmer Art, what do I have to do to fix this?  Should I try fully removing the Default Texture pack?  Will that do it?  If not, I'll be right back here, tomorrow, reporting this bug, over, and over, and over, every day, until I see poor Rusty wearing the proper Iron Horse Armor texture that was supposed to be in 1.13 Pre-Release 2 but sadly wasn't.  For the last time, your wrong.  Now then, have fun.

I have reopened and confirmed this ticket.

Please note that usually it's more effective to describe a problem short and concise instead of writing long paragraphs that we need to read through.

An easy fix if we could revisit would be to copy a working texture from the Bedrock Edition of the game which would work just fine if we want to call it parity.
