The bug

I have a data pack in my world that contains a lot of advancement trees, and some of them are under the GUI. I just realized that when I hover over the tab to see its name, half of the text is overlapped by the advancement background.

How to reproduce

  1. Create a data pack with lots of advancement trees in a world

  2. /advancement grant @s everything

  3. Open the advancement menu

  4. Hover over a tab that is under the GUI

  5. Look closely at the text
    → ❌ Half of the text is overlapped by the advancement background

Confirmed for 20w14a.

It has worsened in 20w21a. Now it isn't only the text, it's the whole tooltip that is overlapped!

Confirmed for 1.16.2-pre1

The new rendering engine has fixed this bug completely. Fix version is 21w10a.
