The top of the chest texture is missing and the double chest has no texture!

Can't reproduce this. If you have any resource packs on try turning them off. If that doesn't work try closing your game then deleting the "assets" folder in your .minecraft folder (%AppData%/.minecraft on Windows). When you next launch the game it should download all the assets again, which might fix it.
