I can open chests if both hands are empty but not if I'm holding anything.
This goes for both sneaking on the ground and pressing shift + space while flying
What I expected to happen was...:
being able to open chests while holding an item
What actually happened was...:
i can only open chests while not holding anything in any of my hands. It seems as if i want to use the item in my hand even if it cannot be used.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. turn on togglable shift,
2. hold any item in any of your hands
3. try opening a chest

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-4196, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved. That means that this is not considered a bug and won't be fixed. Please do not leave a comment on the linked ticket.
