macOS: Crash upon entering fullscreen

Workaround

Use the macOS fullscreen button instead of the in-game fullscreen button.

If your game is already crashing, you'll have to delete your options.txt by opening Finder and using Go > Go to Folder > ~/Application Support/minecraft and deleting options.txt.

Minecraft immediately crashes after the game enters fullscreen, irrespectively of whether the game directly is launched into fullscreen mode or the mode is changed under settings. Previously I have experienced that the game would crash upon enabling the mode but be able to run normally when launched into fullscreen.

I have attached the log file.

Please also attach the minecraft log file and the minecraft crash report to the files too.

Hi Hadys3

It is the crash report that I have attached.
The minecraft log file itself only contains three lines, being rather unhelpful:

[^latest.log]

[13:52:00] [Render thread/INFO]: Setting user: Nergalic
[13:52:03] [Render thread/INFO]: Backend library: LWJGL version 3.2.1 build 12
[13:52:05] [Render thread/INFO]: Reloading ResourceManager: Default

Please also attach the crash file from %Appdata%\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports\

There is no "crash-reports" directory in my "minecraft" directory.
The crash report I attached is the one the launcher directed me to with its "view crash report" button.

On macOS minecraft files are located here, by the way:
/Users/Nergalic/Library/Application Support/minecraft

Could you also add your Java version, CPU Model and Architecture, Display, Graphics card, OpenGL Version And OpenGL Vendor in the enviroment part of your bug Report. These cab all be seen in the F3 menu. Your Graphics Card will be below the "Display: " part of the F3 menu and the OpenGL version is below that.

I no longer have this issue in 22w16b.

I also no longer have this issue; this seems to have been fixed in 1.18.2 Pre-release 3 – is anyone else able to confirm this fix version?

Is this still an issue in 1.18.2 or snapshot 22w18a or later?

Works for me now, on 22w18a!

Resolved as fixed as per @unknown's and @unknown's comments.
