Breaking crimson door isn't faster with an axe and gives me 2 doors every time I break it, my settings are default, Nether beta update.

Although it is worth mentioning that the speed with fist and axe are the same, that was not mentioned, is it deliberate or accidental?

We're actually already tracking this issue in MC-170852, so I resolved and linked this ticket as a duplicate.
However, that ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. The fix will arrive in the next version or is already included in the latest development version of the game.
