[MC-172582] Silk touched diamonds, do not get fortuned with a fortune pickaxe.

After collecting diamond ore while mining I placed the ore down and mined with a fortune pick, all seven that a mined only dropped 1 diamond each. (Had to save the rest for after this gets patched.)

What level of fortune does the pickaxe have? With Fortune I, this happens with a probability of roughly 5.85%.

i had the same issue as well, i mined 64 diamond ore with a fortune 3 pickaxe and all i got was 64 diamonds

Its not just diamonds, its the same with Coal, Redstone, Quartz and Lapis as well

Cannot reproduce in 20w15a. I have just branchmined for 22 diamond ore blocks, afterwards mined them with a fortune 3 pickaxe and got 52 diamonds from them.
The test was done in a brand new 20w15a world.

Just mined 5 stacks of coal, 3 emeralds, and 5 diamonds using silk touch, when i went to use fortune on them (using the beta in bedrock) i got exactly 5 stacks of coal, 3 emeralds, and 5 diamonds.

@Ryan L, this ticket is about an issue in the Java Edition of Minecraft, what is experienced in the Bedrock Edition, has nothing to do with the Java Edition, since they are two diffrent games.
