If a strider is riding another entity, such as being in a boat or a baby strider riding an adult, it will not shake or turn purple.

That's why MC-176042 is created.
I don't think riding baby striders are supposed to shiver. I think they can be fine being on top of its kind as well as being on top of lava.
Personally I think Striders shouldn't shiver when on top of magma blocks.
