I've been having issues with Minecraft appearing as a black screen after I launch it on my Nvidia 1050 ti, I'm on the latest Windows update, and my drivers are up to date on both the integrated graphics and the 1050 ti. If I launch Minecraft with integrated graphics I have no issues, however, when I switch over to my Nvidia card, I get a white blank screen surrounded by black:https://imgur.com/IG0QTIr
When I press f11 and unfullscreen it: https://imgur.com/fmf4CRc
I found that if I go fullscreen and then move the window to my other monitor by pressing windows + arrow key it works fine for 1.15.2, but only for the screen. when I switch to 1.8.9, and I do the same thing, it covers the whole screen but just the bottom portion of the game: https://imgur.com/gkpn3xy
I move it back it to my primary monitor it always does this: https://imgur.com/wWcfea6

i have the exact same problem if we can degrade our drivers we probably dont have the problem anymore cause i cant even play a single game and im sad.
I have the same issue with an acer spire vx15 1050 ti. Anyone found a solution accept running with onboard graphics?
Since we all have the same Laptop (Acer aspire vx15) i would say we are doomed and this is never going to be fixed, only """fix""" i have found was deleting my drivers for the GPU and running on whatever pre 2000 driver the GPU comes with. Obviously this is not great and i suggest buying a new PC/Laptop (lol).
WAIT I found a fix (while writing this)
So just spam Win+shift+arrow keys, change the size of the window with the mouse, spam F11
I am not kidding see attachment
After a bit
[media]After a while
[media]Updates
Edit 1:
seems to only work with resolutions of
1000x589 to 1027x991 for me
(dont ask me why the numbers are so weird)
Edit 2:
fullscreen works only for 320x200@60

Hey, since most of us have the same Laptop, here's my solution:
Downgrade the Intel VGA graphics driver. Really. For the VX15, it can be found here. Make sure to get the VGA Intel one (not the NVIDIA one) and ignore any warnings that say that a more up to date version is already installed. Also make sure your Nvidia driver is up to date using the GeForce experience software.
What causes this issue? No clue, but if it works it works...
Can confirm the fact that we are all doomed lol. Although I was able to actually play the game in full screen at some point (no idea how i did that) I'm getting the same issue now.
Please force a crash by pressing
F3 + C
for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
