When I open the Minecraft launcher, I search everywhere on the launcher and there is no option for me to allocate more ram to Minecraft. I just want to play some modded 1.12.2 minecraft without the game crashing because it hit the usage cap of 2800 something MB.

1. You have posted a feature request. This site is for bugs only.
2. Make sure you're posting on the correct project. The Launcher and the actual game are separate projects.
There are tutorials online for how to allocate more RAM.
