the.txt files in my texture pack are converted to metadata files, wich makes the animated textures not work, also, if I replace them with .txt files again, the animated textures wont work either! please fix this!

Converting animations works fine for me, better check your text files before converting them. Dropping them directly into resource packs does not work, the txt format for animations is no longer supperted.
Can you please attach a texture, the .txt and the .metadata file ?
