[MC-181838] Redstone Torch Won't Power Blocks Right

Redstone torches won't power the rail despite both being attached to the same block.

That is how redstone normally works. It's not a glitch or a bug.

No because if I have a powered lever like that the rail is powered so it's a bug

The powered rail can only be powered by a redstone torch if the redstone torch is underneath the block the powered rail is on. It's always been like that.

Torches only provide strong power upwards.
If you place a solid block above the torches, it will work.
