You can't sprint in Spectator when you switch to it in a block(only if using arrow keys to move)

Can you add a video? I am unable to reproduce this.

I had this issue too. It occured after flying through lava or at low y level. I don't really know

I'm unable to reproduce this either, please provide more detailed reproductions steps. Also, please force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.

Does MC-133414 describe your issue? This bug also affects spectator mode. When you are in water, but not underwater at the same time, you can’t sprint.

I found out how to do it! (IMPORTANT NOTE: I use the arrow keys to move!)

1. Enter spectator mode inside a block.

2. Press ctrl while moving.

You don't go faster until you get to an air block.
