When I went to play a world I made last week in 20w20a, I was met with severe lag when it came to mobs and player actions. Player movement was still smooth, but other things were laggy. Mobs and other entities were very choppy, elytra deactivates much slower, and applying effects such as night vision has extreme delay. There could be other things that I missed, but overall severe lag in this version. This also happened in 20w20a, but not in 20w19a.

We do not have enough information to find the cause of this issue.

While the lag occurs, please run /debug start, wait a while and then run /debug stop in order to create a debug profile. Afterwards, run /debug report.

If you do not have the permission to run these commands, open your world to LAN and enable cheats. If you're on a server, make sure that you're a server operator in order to execute these commands.

Then, please attach the profile results found in [minecraft/debug/profile-results-<DATE>.txt|https://minecrafthopper.net/help/guides/finding-minecraft-data-folder], as well as the debug report found in [minecraft/debug/debug-report-<DATE>.zip|https://minecrafthopper.net/help/guides/finding-minecraft-data-folder] here.

Ok, I shared the files. I don't know how long you wanted it to be so I did it for about a minute. I hope this helps!

I'm slightly experiencing a similar issue like this. Whenever I open up a world once, I start with a huge lag spike and wait for it to the lag to stop. In 20w19a, the world I opened loaded smoothly.

Nevermind, it seems that the world I opened is loading smoothly again in 20w21a.

Your randomTickSpeed gamerule is set to 5000.

In 20w19a, even when it's set to 5000 it still runs smoothly.

Resolving as invalid. Lags and unstable behavior are to be expected with insane values like this, no matter if it worked in a previous version or not.

I did a test in 20w21a in a survival world. Here are the results:
