The bug

In Bedrock Minecraft's 1.16.0.57 beta, a majority of block breaking sounds were changed to have a higher pitch. This was reported in MCPE-68972; however, it was marked Works As Intended.

Added a video comparison recorded in the latest versions

We're not going to change the pitch in Java for now. And we're OK with the slight parity difference. However, we'll continue investing in improvements for audio in both Bedrock and Java.
