Some of the sounds are incorrectly pitched in the latest beta, mostly being blocks being placed and broken.
Grass block: higher pitched
Stone: higher pitched than it should be
Scaffolding: higher pitched than it should be
Planks: placing sound is fine, but breaking sound is higher pitched than usual
Ladders: placing and breaking is the same as breaking planks
Wool: placing and breaking are higher pitched
Glass: incorrectly pitched placing and breaking
Slime block: higher pitched than usual
Sand: placing and breaking is higher pitched
Anvil: placing sound is the same as the falling sound
Bone block: higher pitched
Netherrack: higher pitched
Honey block: seems to be higher pitched
I will update this as i test things out

I'm pretty sure one of the beta changelogs said that they made some sounds higher-pitched but I can't find it anymore.

MC-184101 is WAI so this must be reopened.
Kai Maldonado: there is Mojang comment on MC-184101 saying that the parity difference is intended.
It seems that every block sound is high pitched for some reason. Even noteblock sounds.
