[MC-184396] Melting ice in the Nether has no sound (or particles)

Melting ice in the Nether has no sound or particles.

Placing water or wet sponge does.

Could very well be WAI

This is a feature request and not a bug. Even when melting in the overworld they don't have a sound/particles. You can go to the feedback site if you would like this to change.

Not really about "melting", but instead about water disappearing from said ice without particles.
