I have a squared off area for my animals. The chickens tend to go to the corners of said fenced off area. They then get "stuck." I cannot lure them out with seeds in order for them to breed. They sit within the hitbox of the fences.

I'm getting the same thing. Snapshot 13w25c. Unresolved. Very noticeable with baby chickens as they get stuck within the hitbox of the corner fence and cannot even be touched. Sometimes when they mature they end up on the other side of the fence. Really annoying when you are breeding lots of chickens because almost 100% of the time the baby chickens will get pushed into a corner. Seeds won't lure them out. Hitting adult chickens won't cause them to flee from the corner. It's as if they think they are in a hole with no escape.
I have experienced the same issue as of 1.6.2
I've noticed the same thing, but it's also including baby and adult sheep and cows. It's only one animal at a time stuck and only one corner of the pen at a time.
I'm having the same issue in 1.6.2. It seems like most of the time the chickens get stuck in the corner fence as babies and then grow up stuck in the fence. Seeds do not lure them out of the fence.
Same problem here in 14w20b, not just chickens, but cows, pigs, sheep and villagers. I found using a bucket of water will wash them out of the corner, but often they will just run back to that corner and become stuck again.
Yeah, I've seen this in pretty much every version of the game since I started playing it a few years ago. Fence corners can trap multiple animals and they just can't move. Very annoying.
