Cannot remove dye from beds with a cauldron

You are able to remove dye from most other items and I feel beds fit into the category. It's kind of a pain to make a whole new bed with white wool specifically if I want to change the color. Not entirely a bug but I couldn't think of anywhere else to post this. If this is indeed intended then an explanation would be appreciated.
