Monsters nearby bug on Vanilla Server

So my friend was anoyed by the fact that he can't sleep because there are Monsters nearby. As an server admin i tested the area around the bed with this command "/execute as @e[distance=..30] run say hi" there wasn't any mob in the area. I searched the bug and found an bug report that got canceld because the server wasn't an pure vanilla server. Our server is an vanilla server with a few Datapacks. I disabled all datapacks with the "/datapack disable" command but still he couldn't sleep so here am i writing this bugreport. I hope this gets fixed because my friends whole house is cursed by it.

Have a nice day bye.Β

Does the server use the files provided on minecraft.net, or some other software like Paper or Spigot?

Iβ€˜m not the sever owner so I can’t look it up. But I helped setting the server up and we didn’t click on spigot so I’m 99% sure it’s running vanilla. Additionally I didn’t notice any non vanilla command like /plugins.

It may be an issue with the specific server host you are using, they may use software to reduce server lag - please ask them for assistance.
