Bells don't swing in the correct direction when attached to walls and powered with redstone

When I use this redstone machine, the bell does not swing on the correct axis. Instead, it swings towards its bar and goes into it.

Can confirm in 21w03a.

Can confirm in 21w14a, and I think its not intentional, because you cant swing the bell with your hand in the direcrion redstone does.
