When I am loaded into Minecraft and hit "L" to bring up the advancements page, it shows up as the files depict below, not only are most of the advancements gone but I only have three completed whereas I would normally have all of them done.

Did you, at any point, load the game in an older version after loading it an the 1.16 prereleases?

1.16 pre-release 2 was the most recent version it was loaded in. I have not gone back to versions.

I loaded the backup in the previous snapshot and the advancements are still wrong which is odd because I don't recall any problem with the snapshot before.

This issue is known to occur when a world is downgraded (i.e. opening a world that was opened in any 1.16 snapshot in 1.15.2). Downgrading is not, was never and will never be officially supported - however, if you have another possible explanation for this, along with some reproduction steps, please let us know.

This actually appears to be a duplicate of MC-187701, which hasn't yet been resolved. If you have any additional information to provide regarding this issue, feel free to comment on the parent ticket. If you feel that this issue is affecting you, feel free to vote for the duplicated ticket, to give Mojang a basic idea of how many people are impacted by the problem. Just to further inform you, this will not determine how quickly the bug gets handled or fixed.
