[MC-187826] Killing mobs doesn't drop any experience

I've tried killing hostile mobs such as Ghasts, Creepers, Zombified Piglins and Piglins, and passive mobs such as Cows and Chickens in both creative mode and survival mode. None of them drop any experience.

Were they naturally spawned in, or did you summon them either with commands or an egg?

When this happens, pplease force a crash by pressing F3 + C for 10 seconds while in-game and attach the crash report (minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt) here.
