Nether stems and hyphaes as well as stripped variants are as hard as overworld tree counterparts. Most likely this occur due to fix of MC-178212

Planks are also as hard as oak, birch etc.

until 20w21a nether stems were softer

And? In 20w21a as far as I know this was planned
