"Switch item with offhand" inventory keyboard shortcut still works in Search Items creative tab, overriding text input

It only happens for me when my cursor hovers over a valid item or block in the inventory, this is intentional - or does it happen for you when it's not hovering over something that can be put in the offhand?

This can’t be intentional. This prevents you from typing an F in search bar when hovering over an item.

That is intentional, the same way you cannot type a number when hovering over an item.

But "f" is actually included in words while numbers are only included in discs?

This is likely intended but I reopened it.

Doesn't matter, this is still highly inconvenient since the mouse often lands on an area of the inventory where items will end up getting switched unintentionally. So this should be reopened.

It should be noted that the drop button (Q by default) is disabled in the Creative search menu. So it would be expected to be the same for F / offhand too.

Should I add the issue with numbers to this report as well? Or should those be reported separately?

I think that's already been reported elsewhere. If it's not been reported yet, new ticket please.
