URL parser will not detect TLDs of over 4 characters

The URL parser will not send you to links that end in URLs with TLDs > 4 characters, like *.museum, *.travel, or *.испытание.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

@Ezekiel – Yes, this is still present in 1.6 and 1.6.1.

This issue cannot be tested due to URL parser being completely broken.

Invalid, automatic link parsing of normal text in the chat is no longer supported, see MC-30864
