I get incredibly low performance on 1.16 compared to 1.14.4 (same seed, same rotation almost, same location). It appears especially at high render distances. I have the same allocated RAM. In fact, I have a much higher biome blend value in 1.14. None of my NVIDIA friends have this issue. I need to play at fps higher than 20, please
At 16 render distance in 1.16 on a server I also get 45 fps-ish

Please read the moderator note on MC-187345 - we can no longer accept "performance is lower" reports without proper data to back it up and potential causes, as they are incredibly vague and lead to misuse of the bug tracker.
