When I right click to feed my horse, it mounts me onto the horse and I can't feed it. If I hold shift to keep myself from mounting on the horse it opens the GUI. There doesn't seem to be a way to feed my horses.

I had the same problem, but now I found out that I could breed them with golden apples, I haven't tried it with donkeys yet cuz I haven't found them, but I did try it on my tamed horse. Weird that weed doesn't work, but at least it's possible 🙂
EDIT:
The donkey thing works aswell, it's just not weed, it's Golden Apples, and I just created a Mule =D
I am having the same exact issue. I can't feed the horses what so ever...
