Unable to feed / breed horses with Wheat and Hay Blocks

Confirmed, since you can`t interact with entities while riding them.

You can still breed horses with Golden Apples, but not with Wheat or Hay Blocks

I'm having the same issue, but in survival mode.

What? This is the way it is supposed to be? Please no!
Also where was this listed as a change? I don't see it on the list of changes for 1.6. Minecraft wiki hasn't picked up on it either, which I guess confused me.
I suppose It does raise the value of horses quite a bit. So I think we should be able to craft horse armor then, no need for EVERYTHING having to do with horses to be super hard to get. Since they are so precious and expensive to breed, we should be able to protect them.

Well, if you need 2 golden apple for each baby horse, your "Horse Update" won't be so appreciated...

Please put back wheat breeding... (sneak + right click while holding wheat could be a solution for controls)

This bug is not fixed as of 7/12/2013 and version 1.6.2.
Sit on tamed horse with wheat.
right click on horse
no hearts
won't breed.

Horses aren't supposed to be bredable anymore at all with anything else than either Golden Carrots or Golden Apples.

No Wheat breeding anymore, it is also in the Minecraft Wiki.
