Looks like grass renders as sand, ocean is pink, and sand is white.

This happens a lot. Now that foals are so expensive, this problem is really devistating. It can be prevented by making sure the foal is fenced on flat ground, but it would be nice to be able to put them in a stable.

Also where was this listed as a change? I don't see it on the list of changes for 1.6. Minecraft wiki hasn't picked up on it either, which I guess confused me.
I suppose It does raise the value of horses quite a bit. So I think we should be able to craft horse armor then, no need for EVERYTHING having to do with horses to be super hard to get. Since they are so precious and expensive to breed, we should be able to protect them.

This still happens in 14w18b, but because the search function sucks I am too afraid to post anymore because it will probably be a duplicate.
Play in 14w18b, switch back to 1.7.9, see that your items are gone, in a panic reopen 14w18b and weep bitterly, for they are lost to the void. Then dry your tears and find a tree to punch you impoverished peasant.
Should this be posted somewhere as a warning that it's just going to happen if you mess with the snapshots? I guess maybe this falls under the "can mess up the world" warning.
