I had the same problem, but now I found out that I could breed them with golden apples, I haven't tried it with donkeys yet cuz I haven't found them, but I did try it on my tamed horse. Weird that weed doesn't work, but at least it's possible 🙂 EDIT: The donkey thing works aswell, it's just not weed, it's Golden Apples, and I just created a Mule =D
