When placing a water source on grass through another grass, breaking animation particles are grey(or gray, if you like).
See attached image for better understanding.
Note: In first image, water source was placed on second grass behind the first, somehow breaking the third grass, but it also does the same through one grass to one other.

Only with bonemeal-created grass? What about worldgen grass, for you? The grass in the screenshots is from a survival world I started, noticed while clearing grass.
Well I only tried with bonemeal, I would assume it's the same as worldgen grass. I meant only as in not sheared grass.
EDIT: Yeah, I tried it. So confirmed for both generated grass and bonemeal-created grass but not user-placed grass.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
