'minecraft:snow' block stopping the redstone trail

Hello, I've noticed the bug.
As the screenshots show it only works (Or isn't working as its the bug) with "going down" redstone on the 'Minecraft:snow' (full) block. (It is normally working on 'Minecraft:snow_block').
So in the longest shortest description: Redstone is not charged after contacting the snow so it can't reach the piston to make it raise.
(Note: It is really important to use the 'minecraft:snow' [the one that you need to place 8 times to create a block to recreate the bug])

Stacked snow layers are not full blocks, so this is intended.

Hm.

Soulsand is also not a full block, when you stand on top of it, it also only got a height of 0.875, iirc, the same as 8 snow layers stacked on top of each other.

However, from what one could infer publicly, it seems Mojang implemented soulsand as special case, for the tech community.

Unsure if doing the same to 8 snowlayers would be of any value, but that's up to the Devs to decide.
