Since 1.16.1 older villages I revisited in order to provide enough beds and workstations no longer have any villagers, not missing one or two but all of them. The villages are lit up with a security fence and iron golems but are empty of life except for perhaps one or two children. This has been the case with the last four villages I have revisited. Prior to the nether update this was not happening. No mods.
