In 1.16.1 Minecraft while in rain or a thunder storm you can not see rain through grey stained. I am in the vanilla version of Minecraft, no mods or resource packs.

Actually it is a duplicate of MC-189283, though that report still needs what graphics settings is needed to replicate the bug. If you could comment on that report on what graphical setting you were on that would be much appreciated.

I was using particles: all and graphics: fancy and the new screenshot has no texture packs active
