Villager disappears

What I expected to happen was...:
I created my warehouse again and found that some of my villages had disappeared, not all of them but the ones I had to get more villages, and one more, now I am going to have to use the villagers that I had to procrastinate to get more of villagers.

What actually happened was...:
The villagers disappeared

Steps to Reproduce:
I don't know what happened, because I wasn't too far away, it would be at most 100 blocks
