*What I expected to happen was...
i placed a mob head on a fence post
What actually happened was...:
the head was placed, but it had glitched and was facing a different direction, but then it was redirected to the correct direction fairly quick
notes: i have noticed that it will face the main north east south or west, then if it is on an angle, it will flash white and redirect to your position. no matter what it will flash white.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. place a mob head directly on top of a fence post
2. it must be on the top or it won't work
3. you will notice that the head is not facing you, but is over to the side by about two phases. (i have noticed that it could be to the left or right)
well now in 1.6.2, it does the same thing. now i don't think it is a white flash,

Confirmed.
The "white flash" is the skeleton skull placed first before the final texture and rotation is applied.
