13 and cat exist as both .mus and .ogg files.

If you go into .minecraft/resources/streaming, you'll find several .mus files with names corresponding to music discs (and also an additional one called "where are we now.mus", for some reason). However, you'll also find two .ogg files labeled "13.ogg" and "cat.ogg".

The folder .minecraft/resources/ doesn't exist in my .minecraft folder.

Is it because of a mod?

I found it robbage I can confirm that they both exist as a .ogg and .mus I have also provided some images to show

Previous versions of the game used .ogg files, it is likely that the .ogg remain for compatibility reasons.

What do you mean "previous versions", @Galaxy_2Alex? As far as I can tell, every other sound file uses .ogg. I am certain that some of those sounds were added after the music discs.

The resources folder is not used by the current version of the game.
