Piston not retracting

Pistons don't retract in some situations in the Z axis.

The bug also works in different axis. But it looks like a redstone block two blocks above the piston will keep powering the piston for some reason and once that block is removed the piston does not get updated. Here are two more clips:

Please record a video of this happening and attach it to this report.
If you are on Windows, you can use Windows+Alt+R to open a built-in App for recording game footage.

I really wonder how this is not considered a bug and "working as intended". When clearly the piston is not working the way one would expect.

I think this is a bug because look at this screenshot how is this even possible the Redstone block isn't even there anymore yet the bottom piston is still powered by literally nothing at all.
