Parity Issue: Block/Tile Entities aren't movable

I am unable to recreate my bedrock redstone on Java due to a parity issue that has still not been fixed. In Java Edition Tile Entities, referred also as Block Entities for non-technical players cannot be moved by a piston. In bedrock, pistons can move tile entities.

I was unable to make my chest swappers because of this stupid issue. This is also not the hardest thing to do, carpet mod has this feature thanks to 2no2name. I just want my simple chest/furnace swapper to work.

I liked an image showing the problem. The piston is powered but not pushing the furnace which is should be able to.
