The /stopsound command doesn't work

The {{/stopsound }}command doesn't work. To reproduce: 

  1. Create a new world.

  2. Type {{/stopsound @p}}in the chat.

  3. You will see the attached message.

Edit: I figured out that sometimes it works, but sometimes it doesn't work.

Can you provide a screenshot with your F3 debug screen enabled? (Simply press F3 to open it)

You did not provide the correct arguments. I suggest you go to https://minecraft.gamepedia.com/Commands/stopsound to find out more about the command.

This is an Invalid bug report, because you didn't provide the correct arguments

The syntax is /stopsound <targets> <source> <sound>, with targets and source required for the command to be correctly parsed.
